If you’re up for something exciting, the Babylon Burger is an unbeatable choice, showcasing an Impossible kebab patty paired with preserved lemon and savory garlic whipped cream on a sesame seed bun—perfectly complemented with potato chips at $15. The menu also features enticing sides like the Seared Broccolini drizzled with soy sauce and lemon zest ($4) and Homestyle Mac boasting a velvety American cheese sauce ($6), promising a delicious exploration of flavors.

But it's not just the food that shines at Kindred; their cocktail offerings are equally impressive. Sip on the River Styx, with its rich bourbon and coffee liqueur blend for $10, or treat yourself to the sophisticated Blackened Manhattan, featuring rye whiskey and a hint of plummy intrigue for $17. These captivating drinks further elevate the dining experience, making it one you won’t soon forget.

The atmosphere at Kindred is a crucial part of its charm, with an inviting gothic aesthetic that's seamlessly blended with friendly service. Vegan! This is a great place with amazing drinks and a strong theme. The theme is the occult, but in a bun, friendly, approachable way. It's not creepy or dark. Feels more friendly modern witchy than it does cursed, if that makes sense. If you're in town, I would recommend a visit. Do be warned, there are no meat products or cheese products. Still delicious.

The eggroll burger was seriously delicious!!! I'll be thinking about it forever! We went late and only had the late night, limited menu, but it was still absolutely worth it! A great spot for a late night snack & drink. The service was fantastic - great sense of humor, accommodating, good suggestions, knowledgeable

My second time going here and both times were phenomenal. Great food, great drinks, great vibes. Has a goth kind of vibe. Everything here is vegan. And all the food that my friends got also looked delicious. They gave me a desert for my birthday it was very nice. First time I went was for dinner and this most recent time was for brunch. Both have very good service and delicious foods. Would highly recommend to vegans and non vegans!

This restaurant has an incredible atmosphere, and the cocktails are delicious. Unfortunately, the gluten-free options are *very* limited, although (shockingly!) the desserts are gluten-free. So for my Celiac chicks, I'd recommend grabbing dinner elsewhere, but be sure to come here for a delightful drink and dessert by the candlelight afterward.

Great atmosphere with a niche hard-core esthetic that somehow really compliments the overall atmosphere very well. The food is excellent and service is quick and friendly. Great vegan brunch offers and overall reasonably priced.

Great brunch at Kindred! Really love the ambiance of the restaurant, and the staff were all super sweet and helpful. We sat on the dog friendly patio. We started with some delicious drinks, the Pom Pom killer, blood trance, and spinal tap. The food was great, we ordered the warlock, congee, and mind melt. Recommend, whether you are a vegetarian or not you will be impressed!

Best vegan menu in SD. Interesting options and eye-catching presentation. Creatively named dishes. Communal seating, which isn’t for everyone. Host was absent upon our arrival and bartender didn’t even look our way, despite being right in front us. We put on the reservation that we were celebrating a birthday and were a bit disappointed that they didn’t do even a tiny desert acknowledgement. In the era of 20%+ tips, I expect a bit more.
